well they are good cars and who cares if it is a 1993! if it is a automatic check the transmission the gears are usually known to wear out, and the front end parts are known to go as well, and it doesnt matter what year it is a mazda parts are known to be a little more expensive than a honda, toyota, nissan and as well parts are hard to find, but if you do buy a this car and if it is a good one it will last you best thing after you buy it buy a parts car and that right there will save you loads of cash but i do wish you luck

Personally, I think that the second generation MX 6 is on of the best appearing cars. It looks refined.

Underneath it shares its chassis with the Ford Probe, so you can get parts at Ford dealers for a lot less than at Mazda dealers.

Having rented a Probe with a four cylinder and automatic - it is a combination that I would avoid. The four cylinder had plenty of power at high rpm, but the automatic always shifted at low rpm, unless you manually held gears. In addition, the automatic absorbed a lot of power. Get a manual transmission.
